From the M11

At Junction 7, take the A414 turning towards Harlow.
Go past the Shell garage on your left and turn right on to London Road (by Miller & Carter).
After 0.8 miles turn right on to Harlow Common.
Continue down that road (it turns into Foster Street and Hobbs Cross road) for approximately 1.5 miles (go past St Nicholas School – do not turn into the school – and then Churchgate Primary School, both on your left.
As the road bends sharply right, turn left on to Hubbard’s Hall Drive.
Continue for approximately 0.5 miles and That Amazing Place is on your left.

 

From the A414 (Harlow)

Exit the roundabout onto First Ave Mandela Avenue (B183).
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and continue onto Gilden Way (B183).
At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Sheering Road.
At this end of this short road, turn right to stay on Sheering Road. Follow the road round to the left onto Churchgate Street.
As the road bends sharply left, turn right on to Hubbard’s Hall Drive.
Contine for approximately 0.5 miles and That Amazing Place is on your left.

 

By Train

Our closest train stations are Harlow Town and Harlow Mill (both accessible from London Liverpool Street).

 

By Tube

Our closest tube station is Epping (around 20 minutes away by taxi).

 If you would like to book a room to stay at That Amazing Place, please check availablity with the wedding couple as you are not able to book directly with us.

Check-In / Check-Out Times

Check in time for the bedrooms is 2pm.  Check out is 10am the following morning.

Breakfast

For breakfast we provide a range of cereals, fruit, pastries or a cooked sandwich (eg, bacon, sausage, egg). Please note that we do not offer a full English breakfast. There should be an option for every diet, however if there are any significant dietary requirements that we need to know about (eg, allergies,vegan or gluten free guests), then please advise the couple so that they can inform us.

TAXIS

The music and bar finishes at 11.30pm for weddings on Thursday to Sunday, with the venue closing at midnight for all non-residential guests. From Monday to Wednesday, music and bar finshes at 11pm, with the venue clsing at 11.30pm.

We encourage all non-staying guests to book their taxi’s in advance to save any long waits on the night.

Local taxi companies are ABC Cars on 01279 300900 and Metro Cars on 01279 444333.

PARKING

When you arrive at the venue, please park your car on the grassed area on the left as you come down the driveway.  Please DO NOT park on the gravel area in front of the house as this is kept clear for the wedding couple’s photos.

Cars can be left overnight (at your own risk) but must be collected by 10am the following morning.

DISABLED ACCESS

We can provide a ramp for wheelchairs. We do not have a disabled toilet at the present time, however we do have a toilet large enough for standard wheelchairs to access. We also have one bedroom located on the ground floor for less abled guests (please note that this is not a disabled access room).

CONFETTI

We allow the use of bio-degradable confetti in the garden and grounds.  Unfortunately, we cannot allow confetti to be thrown inside the house or the use of confetti cannons.
